Ensure Compliance with a Train the Trainer Manual Handling Course
This program qualifies and licenses the participant to deliver the Backsafe Manual Handling Level 1 and Level 2 Training Program onsite within their own organisation or business. It is ideal if the participant is already a qualified and competent trainer. However, we are also able to offer those participants who need some assistance with their training skills with an extra day of training to address and enhance a range of vital communication and presentation skills.
In the Backsafe train the in-house trainer section of the course the participant will be taken through all of the information from the Backsafe 1 and 2 Training Modules. Our senior trainer(s) will then drill each participant in their knowledge of the content in the course and in their ability to demonstrate a range of lifting techniques, stretching exercises and a range of other body movements around manual handling skills. Only those participants who can demonstrate full understanding and application will be qualified to become a Trainer of the Backsafe material.

We offer your manual handling course onsite
This course will be delivered onsite in your workplace, anywhere in any geographical location over 2 or 3 days. We are insured by GIO Insurance to indemnify you against public liability claims and we are also professionally indemnified. The training can be at any time of the day or night depending on your schedule. The facilitated delivery of this program is best delivered in the normal awake hours of the trainees. We understand that it is important for many organisations to have the same standards across different workplaces and so we are willing to travel to any site.
Backsafe 1 and 2 are not prerequisites for this course. However, because we will show you how to deliver Backsafe 1 and elements of Backsafe 2 in the training, it is better if a prospective trainer has heard the content before. We apply another of our foundational concepts which is "the number of times over the training material adds to certainty". We therefore recommend that the in-house trainer is re-trained every 3 years.
A certificate of attendance will be issued at the completion of this training program upon request.
