Health & Safety Management Systems
The management of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) risks is a minimum requirement in every workplace. An effective OH&S Management System can help to establish the framework of compliance with the two most fundamental elements of OH&S legislation being:
- That employers provide and maintain a work environment that is safe and without risk to personnel.
- That employees take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others.
According to the latest statistics published by Safe Work Australia manual handling remains the biggest risk to Australian workplaces. Backsafe has an effective OH&S system strategy to manage this and thereby remove one of the largest obstacle to reducing operating costs and workers' compensation costs with your organisation.
